Wollten Sie schon immer mal ein paar wunderbare ausländische Filme kennen lernen, wussten aber nie so genau, wann, wie und wo damit beginnen? Auf der Far-Flung Filmnacht können Sie jetzt loslegen. Dieses Mal wird der belgische Film ‚le tout nouveau testament‘ (Das brandneue Testament ) gezeigt. Die Basis des Films zeigt eine Absurdität: Was, wenn Gott ein Arschloch ist und in einer hässlichen Brüsseler Wohnung lebte? Er interessiert sich nicht mehr für seine Kreation und treibt mit unschuldigen Leuten seine Spielchen. Als seine Tochter Ea gelangweilt von seinem leichten Leben beginnt einzugreifen, kommt die Angelegenheit ins brodeln. Diese belgisch-luxemburgisch-französische Produktion zeigt Brüssel erfrischend neu durch die Augen von Jaco Van Dormael, einem der talentiertesten jungen Regisseure Belgiens.

This time the movie will be Belgian movie ‘le tout nouveau testament’ (the brand new testament). The premise of the movie shows its absurdity: what if God an asshole and lived in an ugly Brussels apartment? He doesn’t care anymore about his creation and fucks around with innocent people. When his daughter Ea gets bored and starts to intervene with his easy life shit really hits the fan. This Belgian-Luxembourgian-French corporation shows Brussels in a refreshing new through the eyes of Jaco Van Dormael, one of Belgium’s most talented young directors.
